What we aim for
We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is a standard we hold ourselves to, not a certification we have been awarded.
What we have done
- Every page is reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
- Text and interface colours are checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds. Our amber accent is deliberately not used for small text on white, because it does not meet them.
- Headings run in order and describe the structure of the page rather than being chosen for their size.
- Images carry alternative text, and decorative marks are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than only coloured.
- The layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling, and animation is suppressed for anyone who has asked their system to reduce motion.
Known limitations
The dark, metallic version of our logo is a photographic-style image. Its fine highlights may be hard to distinguish for some users, so it is only ever used decoratively alongside text that carries the same information, never as the sole means of conveying anything.
Tell us if something does not work
